The trainer's attention is divided, the environment is artificially controlled, and the specific needs of your individual dog are rarely addressed in meaningful depth. For a reactive dog, the presence of other dogs in a group class can actively reinforce the very behaviour you are trying to resolve.

One-to-one training, by contrast, is built entirely around your dog. The programme is tailored to your dog's specific triggers, history, temperament, and learning style. Sessions take place in real-world environments – the park where your dog lunges at cyclists, the street where recall breaks down, the doorstep where your dog reacts to visitors – meaning that the skills learned are immediately applicable to your everyday life.
